ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES

El-Projekt was established in 1992 as a private company focused on producing project and design documentation for electrical engineering installations. Over the years, the company has specialised in documentation for high power electrical installations, control systems, electrical connections, aerial electrical lines and substations up to 52 kV, standard and active lightning conductors, grounding systems, etc. Another major part of the company’s activities was drafting documentation for the construction of GSM and UMTS transmitters for Orange, T-Mobile and Telefónica O2.

The company expanded its activities in 1995 to include the delivery, installation and inspection of active lightning protection systems from leading European manufacturers. In addition to deliveries, the company provides complete service from the design of the lightning protection system and system calculations per the provisions of the STN 34 1391:1998 standard, to construction and erection of the lightning protection system and its control, professional inspection and handover to the user. The company has sold the WAT Franklinplus active lightning protection system manufactured in the EU since 2009. Products have complied with the STN 34 1398:2014 standard since 1 March 2014. They also comply with the French NF C 17-102:2011 standard, recognised as the worldwide standard for active lightning protection.

The company began sales of programs for electrical, ventilation and sanitary system designers on the Slovak market as a representative of ASTRA 92 a.s. Zlín. El-Projekt Košice has been an official distributor of all ASTRA 92 a.s. Zlín products in Slovakia since 1 July 2001 (and the company is now known as ASTRA MS Software s.r.o. Zlín as of 1 November 2010).

From 1.4.2025, the company Ing. Michal Krempa - El-Projekt changed to the company El-Projekt Košice s. r. o. The new company took over all obligations, guarantees, etc. of the original company. After 33 years of operation, the latter ceased its activities.
